This Privacy Policy explains how Royal Estates handles your personal data when you use this website, contact us or work with us as a buyer, seller or investor. We process personal data in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 on Data Protection (LOPDGDD).
Who is responsible for your data
The data controller is Roger Estates S.L. (trading as Royal Estates), CIF B57963639, Carrer des Cap Martinet 14, local 2, 07819 Jesús, Santa Eulària des Riu, Ibiza (Illes Balears), Spain.
For any question about your personal data, or to exercise your rights, email sales@royalestates.com.
What data we collect
- Contact details you give us: name, email address, phone number, and the message you send, for example through the contact form, a viewing or information request, or a brochure download.
- Your search preferences and interest in specific properties, and notes of our conversations, so we can help you find or sell a property.
- Account details if you create an account: name, email address and a securely hashed password, plus the favourites and saved searches you store.
- Job applications sent through our careers page: your details, CV and motivation.
- Technical data needed to run the website securely, such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, kept in server logs for a limited time.
Why we use your data and on what legal basis
- To answer your enquiry, send the brochure you requested and arrange viewings: to take steps at your request before a possible agreement, and our legitimate interest in following up an enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).
- To provide our brokerage, development and investment services once we work together: performance of the agreement (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- To meet legal obligations, including anti-money-laundering checks (Spanish Law 10/2010) and tax and accounting rules: legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
- To send you property updates or newsletters: only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
- To keep the website secure and working: our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- To assess job applications: steps at your request before a possible employment agreement.
Who we share your data with
We never sell your personal data. We share it only where needed:
- With partner agencies and the owner or developer of a property you are interested in, when needed to arrange a viewing or a transaction.
- With notaries, lawyers, banks and public authorities when a transaction requires it or the law obliges us.
- With service providers that process data on our behalf under a data processing agreement: Vercel (website hosting), Neon (database, EU region), Resend (sending emails) and Mapbox (maps on property pages).
International transfers
Some of these providers are based in the United States or may process data there. Such transfers are covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or by the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep your data
Enquiry and client data are kept for as long as we are in contact about a property search, sale or investment, and afterwards for as long as legal obligations require (for example 10 years for anti-money-laundering records and the periods required by tax law). Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe. Job applications are kept for up to 12 months unless you agree to a longer period. Account data is deleted when you delete your account or ask us to.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct and delete your data, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. Email sales@royalestates.com; we answer within one month.
If you believe we do not handle your data correctly, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, www.aepd.es).
Security
Your data is stored with providers that apply strict security standards, transmitted over encrypted connections, and only accessible to team members who need it for their work.

This website only uses functional cookies. See our Cookie Policy for details.
