The holiday chalet is located in Högmoos/Taxenbach, about 15km east of the district capital of Zell am See, on the Taxenbacher Sonnberg. The Zell am See / Schmittenhöhe skiing area can be accessed in about 15 minutes by car. This skiing area is part of the “Alpin Card” ticket network, which includes the skiing areas of Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm, Leogang, Fieberbrunn, Zell am See and Kitzsteinhorn Kaprun.

The Kaprun Maiskogel / Kitzsteinhorn glacier ski area is approx. 16 km away from the property.

In summer there are countless hiking trails in the vicinity, Lake Zell, which is only 15 km away, offers lots of bathing fun and leisure time and a special highlight is the close proximity to the Hohe Tauern National Park with guided national park ranger tours and countless vacation activities.
Built in 1972 and further expanded in 1975 and 1997, the house consists of: 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms upstairs and
on the ground floor guest toilet, entrance area/cloakroom, separate kitchen, large living and dining area with open fireplace and additional small studio with separate entrance and storage room.

From the south-facing terrace and the balcony, there is a fantastic, unobstructed panoramic view of part of the Hohe Tauern National Park. The house has a beautiful brick fireplace in the living room and a second fireplace on the terrace.

The holiday home is located in the village of Högmoos/Taxenbach in a very sunny, quiet location, only about 5 minutes by car from the main road in a dead-end street.
